Job Summary
HR/Payroll Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the Human Resources department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist HR Director and the Payroll Specialist with:
New hires/onboarding
Filing
Payroll processing and accuracy
Reporting
Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
Assist with the preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, retention, and turnover reports.
Maintain accurate records
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
Ability to operate general office equipment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Ability to design, produce and maintain existing Excel workbooks.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred.
Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish (preferred, not required).
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
